(KRON) -- Novato police are asking for the public's help as it probes a felony vandalism to a Tesla CyberTruck parked in the private driveway of a residence — all captured on home surveillance.
Bay Area Tesla showrooms brace for more weekend protestsThe incident began Saturday morning at 4:22 a.m. Novato PD said the suspect in the video appears to be casing the home before returning with a concrete rock an hour later at 5:41 a.m.
Police said the suspect puts duct tape over a security camera before "throwing the concrete at the windshield multiple times, slashing all four tires, and leaving a yellow piece of duct tape with a handwritten note advising the tires had been damaged."

Police are asking residents who live in the areas of Jackson, Truman, Brown, Garner or Washington drives to check their cameras for suspicious activity or vehicles between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m.
