Applications for a city of Greeley program to support local startups are due on March 31, and the city is encouraging anyone who wishes to apply to do so quickly.
Greeley’s gBETA program connects startups with expert coaching, business strategy support and connections to investors. The program is open to any startups based in Greeley.
City officials determined that the fall 2024 cohort was a success. The program helped companies improve their pricing and sales models. This resulted in new investments, customers and site tours with potential funders for the five small businesses that participated. With this success, the city is eager for the new spring 2025 cohort, which will kick off April 17.
“This program demonstrates the power of support and guidance in unlocking entrepreneurs’ potential,” Greeley Economic Development Director John Hall said. “We are thrilled to welcome more startups and provide the resources they need to succeed and thrive in our community.”
This seven-week program is the result of a partnership between Greeley’s Economic Development Department and gener8tor, a startup accelerator company that partners with businesses, governments and universities to run programs like gBETA.
Startups selected as part of this program will receive individualized coaching and mentorship, investor and accelerator pitches, ongoing post-program support and gener8tor community involvement and offerings and more than $1 million in deals and perks from vendors like IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, Paypal, Zendesk, Hubspot and Microsoft.
