Sunny Hostin is coming clean about use of weight-loss drugs that helped her drop 40 pounds during the pandemic and what’s happened since.
During a night out on March 23 for the premiere of the revival of Othello on Broadway, The View co-host, 56, revealed what happened when she stopped taking Mounjaro, which is similar to Ozempic. She claimed that she had “a very different experience” than some people do when they stop using the prescription medication.

“I feel really great,” she told the Daily Mail, wearing a white baggy suit over her noticeably slimmer figure. “I don't know what everyone else's experience with it is, but I never gained any weight back.”
Studies suggest that some people who stop using weight loss drugs end up gaining weight back because they start to experience food cravings and hunger.
However, Hostin told the outlet that she hasn’t experienced any such cravings, and her body seems to be acting the same as it was before she started taking the weight loss drug.
“'I was never a big eater, so I just sort of eat to live. I don't live to eat,” she explained. She added that she’s also “never stopped working out,” which has helped her retain a healthy weight.
“Yeah, I’m just living life and feeling pretty good,” she told the outlet.
