An Aurora man was fatally shot in his apartment Friday night, according to Aurora police, who were still searching for the shooter Saturday.
The victim was discovered by his downstairs neighbor, who entered the apartment in the 17100 block of East Adriatic Drive after hearing a “commotion” just after 10:15 p.m., police said in a statement.
The man was suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital, where he died Saturday morning. He will be identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
Police said investigators were following up on leads but had not made any arrests as of Saturday afternoon.
