Ben Affleck is throwing himself into work months after his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
“Ben has been spending most of his time lately in Los Angeles. He was so focused on The Accountant," a source exclusively tells Parade. "It’s one of the projects he’s been most proud of for a really long time.”

The insider adds, “He’s been very busy shooting and directing Animals right now, and it’s consuming most of his time. He’s pouring all of his energy into that at the moment. His true passion is directing, and he’s enjoying it.”
Affleck's career update echoes what another insider told Parade in February.
"Ben is throwing himself into work as much as he can right now," the source said. "It's all work, work, work for him at the moment.”
Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, first got together in 2002 after meeting on the set of the romantic comedy Gigli and got engaged that same year. Though the pair eventually went their separate ways in early 2004, they reunited in 2021 after splitting from their respective partners at the time.
Before rekindling his relationship with Lopez, Affleck dated Ana de Armas, and he was previously married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018. For her part, Lopez was engaged to Alex Rodriguez before they called it quits in 2021, and she was previously married to Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014.
Lopez and Affleck announced their engagement in April 2022 before secretly tying the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in July that year. They wed in a larger ceremony in Georgia the following month.
Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20, 2024, the exact anniversary of their Georgia nuptials. Their split was finalized in January.
