Kelly Clarkson fans were thrilled when the singer returned to her eponymous talk show this week after being gone for most of the month—especially since her return involved a brand new "Kellyoke" segment.
On the Tuesday, March 18 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the "Since U Been Gone" singer welcomed guests Adam Scott and Marc Rebillet, but not before kicking off the show by performing a cover of "Flames" by the New Zealand-based singer-songwriter Will Swinton.

"If you haven't heard his music yet, there is no time like the present, look him up!" Clarkson said before launching into the tune, as Hello! reported.
Clarkson chose a brown suede coat dress with gold buttons for the occasion, accessorizing with knee-high snakeskin boots.

The talk show host's followers raved about her successful comeback on Instagram.
"She is back and bringing the fire ??❤️," declared one person.
"We missed you so much!!!! ??????❤️❤️❤️ We Love you Kelly! Never forget how beloved you are and how much you mean and make a difference. Queen! ?," raved a second fan, with someone else calling the performance "utterly beautiful.. goosebumps ❤️?."
"Nothing like a new Kellyoke!" added another commenter.
While it's still not clear why Clarkson was missing from her show in recent weeks, TMZ reported that she was "completely fine" and dealing with a personal matter.
Last month, Clarkson made a major career announcement via Instagram: an upcoming 18-show Las Vegas residency.
"I’m so excited to be back in Vegas! We’re bringing the studio to the stage this time with 'Studio Sessions'!" she wrote. "See you soon! Be sure to sign up for fan club emails on my website, they could contain fun things!"
Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions - The Las Vegas Residency will be held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, running from July 4 to Aug. 16 and picking back up from Nov. 7 to Nov. 15.
