Arizona State Sun Devils quarterback Sam Leavitt and head coach Kenny Dillingham were among those in attendance for the EA College Football 26 cover photoshoot, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
The video game is expected to be released later this summer.
The photoshoot, which took place at the Rose Bowl, featured nine players including the Arizona State signal caller:
– QB Sam Leavitt, Arizona State – QB DJ Lagway, Florida – LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier – Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love – Alabama WR Ryan Williams – Ohio State WR Jeremiah Smith – Ohio State S Caleb Downs – South Carolina EDGE Dylan Stewart
Nakos adds the game is expected to release multiple covers with the latest version, meaning Leavitt could be in the mix to don the front.
In his first season at Arizona State, the signal caller completed 61.7% of his passes for 2,885 yards and 24 touchdowns to six interceptions.
The signal caller added another 443 yards and five scores on 110 carries.
He along with running back Cam Skattebo, who is prepping for the 2025 NFL Draft, were integral in the program’s run to the Peach Bowl.
Kenny Dillingham getting some love from EA College Football
Arizona State’s starting quarterback wasn’t the only Sun Devil to catch EA College Football’s eye.
In addition to the signal caller, Dillingham was also participating in the photoshoot for a coaches’ cover, according to Nakos.
He’s one of six lead men involved:
– Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham – Ohio State’s Ryan Day – Georgia’s Kirby Smart – Penn State’s James Franklin – Ole Miss’ Lane Kiffin – Oregon’s Dan Lanning
Despite being picked to finish last in the Big 12, it was the complete opposite for the Sun Devils head coach in 2024 behind an 11-3 mark and Big 12 title after finishing 3-9 in his first season at Arizona State.
