CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The strong weather on Wednesday is causing delays and massive cancellations at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
As of 10:00 a.m., there are 101 delays and 170 cancellations, according to FlightAware.
The strongest part of the storm will be felt along the I-77 corridor between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. The storms are expected to bring heavy rain, damaging winds, and the potential for hail and an isolated tornado to the area throughout the morning.
