A woman was found fatally shot in her car on Tuesday night in Anaheim, according to authorities.
Just before 8 p.m., the Anaheim Police Department received a call for shots heard in the 700 block of North Vine Street, near La Palma Avenue and North East Street, in Anaheim.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a dead woman in her car with shotgun wounds, according to Anaheim Police Sgt Matt Sutter. Information on the woman’s identity was not immediately available
The suspect or suspects are outstanding, according to Sgt Sutter. Police did not immediately provide a description of a suspect or suspects.
Information on the motive and other circumstances was not immediately known.
Investigating officers planned to remain in the residential area for several hours, Sutter told a journalist with OnSceneTV. Local traffic was not expected to be affected.
