American Idol Season 21 finalist Colin Stough has been arrested for alleged drunk driving in Tennessee following a car crash, TMZ was the first to report.
The incident took place on Friday, Feb. 28, a few miles south of Nashville, when Stough, 20, was taken into custody after highway patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-840 East near the 37-mile marker in Williamson County.

Stough was taken to the hospital, though no injuries have been disclosed, and then arrested and charged with DUI, underage consumption of alcohol, and failure to exercise due care.
He has since bailed out.

While it’s unclear whether this Instagram post is connected to his arrest, that same Friday, Stough posted a video walking in a wooded area while singing, “I’m not perfect and will never claim to be. But I will admit when I’m wrong and that’s a fact.”

He followed that on Sunday, posting, “You can be this and you can be that. But you can’t be someone else besides you. Just a fact.”

Stough participated in Season 6 on ABC (Season 21 overall) of American Idol, where he finished in third place, behind runner-up Megan Danielle and winner Iam Tongi.
