Sarah Paulson was completely enveloped in fabric in a head-turning look for the 2025 Oscars.
On Sunday, March 2, the American Horror Story actress stepped out in a bold red gown from Marc Jacobs for the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party. The event was held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

Paulson's voluminous garment reached her ankles and puffed out at three separate areas. At her shoulders, the actress, 50, was surrounded by fabric in a dramatic collar. The gown was then fitted at her waist before it jutted out for a second time. Finally, at the very bottom of the look, another bulbous accent finished the bottom portion.
For accessories, Paulson opted for feather dangling earrings, a small black clutch and black heels.

On Reddit, fans weighed in on Paulson's daring red carpet look with mixed reactions.
One person wrote, "The shade of red is gorgeous, but I cannot express in enough words how much I hate this design. I think just having the lower half would have been cute, but the shoulders are just so cumbersome."
