Shock ‘sex act’ moment from Sabrina Carpenter’s very racy Brit Awards performance CUT from ITV show by bosses

THERE were some corking moments during the Brits ceremony on Saturday night but if you weren’t lucky enough to have a ticket to the show, you won’t have seen them.

First up Danny Dyer‘s expletive laden chat with the brilliant Jack Whitehall was cut, with ITV bosses silencing the audio as he described his new film Marching Powder as “basically Bridget Jones without the word c**t.”

But that wasn’t the only moment which was sanitised for that audience at home.

Sabrina Carpenter‘s very racy performance included her pretending to perform a sex act.

The sexy routine, which we caught on camera, was missing from the ITV show because it was likely deemed too saucy for fans watching at home.

Elsewhere on the floor the celebs were all up for a big night out, with the champagne flowing across the tables.

The mood, which felt way more fun than in recent years, in my opinion was down to Jack being back in the driving seat for the ceremony.

He is a hilarious comedian and while some of the jokes were close to the knuckle they were well delivered, timely and bloody funny.

When there is so much misery and woe in the world, sometimes you really need to listen to some good music and have a good laugh.

    Come back next year, Jack.

It really isn’t the same without you.

    Charli’s Brat bags Brits

CHARLI XCX had the night of her career at the Brits after picking up five awards – but she still looked as fresh as a daisy when she left Sony’s exclusive after-party.

Our Howell rubbed shoulders with the Brat superstar at the bash at Nobu Portland Square.

Meanwhile, Jack out-stayed Lennon Gallagher and Jess Glynne and Alex Scott at Warner’s after-party at Claridges.

Hold My Hand hitmaker Jess was on top form as she left in the early hours of yesterday morning, which is better than can be said for me.

I had to nail two McDonald’s breakfast meals and have a lunchtime pint of Carling to help me try and feel anywhere close to human again.

    Until next year…

    Stars' late night party rankings

HERE are the celebs that scored highest on the party chart, with marks out of ten:

SABRINA CARPENTER, 1/10: After collecting her Global Success gong, Sabrina went straight home in favour of a chilled night.

JACK WHITEHALL, 2/10: The Brits host had to catch a flight at 10am yesterday so he swerved a bender at Warner and left around 1.45am.

FRANK LAMPARD, 3/10: Despite being surrounded by fans at Universal asking for selfies, Ellie included, the former Chelsea headed home around 1.50am.

NICOLE APPLETON and GENE GALLAGHER, 4/10: The mother and son tore up the dance floor at Universal but slipped out the door around 2am.

JADE and JORDAN STEPHENS, 5/10: After her killer performance on stage and at Sony, the couple went on their way at 2.10am.

ROCCO RITCHIE, 6/10: Guy Ritchie’s lad tried his hardest to stay awake at Warner but called it a night at 2.30am.

OTI MABUSE, 7/10: I’m A Celebrity’s Oti was among the final stars to leave Universal’s party just after 3.02am.

FIVE, 8/10: Abz Love, J Brown, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon kept their promise to me and partied until 3.05am at the Sony bash.

MYLES SMITH, 9/10: Winner of Brits Rising Star award Myles headed home from Sony at 3.25am.

TOM WALKER, 10/10: Leave The Light On singer did just that as he was the last man standing at the same bash as Five and Myles and didn’t go home until 3.30am.

It’s ale about Sam and his team

GettySam Fender won the Rock/Alternative gong at the Brits[/caption]

AFTER Sam Fender won the Rock/Alternative gong at the Brits the South Shields rocker was in the mood for celebrating.

But rather than leaving the O2 for an after party, insiders told me Sam hung out in his dressing room with his team. “Sam and his team were drinking dark ales in his area backstage,” my mole said.

“When everyone had left the O2, Sam was having a shindig backstage.

“They were cracking open ales until someone knocked on the door and told them it was time to clear out.” I spotted Sam on the arena floor before he picked up his award from Kasabian legend Serge Pizzorno, and told him how much I loved the record.

He was as gracious and polite as always and our table erupted when we found out he had won. Congratulations, Sam. What a night.

Teddy and Ella hit it off at Brits

SHE may not have been up for an award but Ella Henderson bagged an even better prize.

The Ghost hitmaker got on so well with US singer Teddy Swims before the show that he invited her out to work with him in Los Angeles.

Our backstage mole said: “Ella and Teddy got on like a house on fire.

“He’s just been to Ireland and Ella couldn’t help but gush over Dublin and how much she loves a pint over there with her partner. He ended inviting her to LA to hit the studio.”

Meanwhile Teddy was one of the last men standing at the Warner Music party at Claridges. At 2am, he told our Jack he was having one of the best nights of his life. I only hope his head wasn’t as sore as Jack’s was.

    What a Ryde, Sam

GettySam Ryder was spotted grinding on the dancefloor in the VIP area with his girlfriend[/caption]

SAM RYDER was living his best life at Universal’s official after party at 180 Studios.

I spotted Sam grinding on the dancefloor in the VIP area with girlfriend Lois Gaskin-Barber.

While on the other side of the room was Gene Gallagher, son of Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher, and his All Saints singer mum Nicole Appleton.

Along with Sam and Lois, they all had a great night dancing together.

Elsewhere, my moles spotted Rachel Chinouriri getting a helping hand backstage with her attire.

I’m told Rachel had a pal on hand to carry the train of her gorgeous green dress throughout the red carpet and ceremony.

Now that is what I call a good and dedicated friend.

    Industry unites to fight A.I.

AS the stars came together to celebrate the Brits, they also joined forces against Government proposals on AI and copyright.

Make It Fair: Don’t Let AI Steal Our Music is now being backed by groups including The Last Dinner Party, Flo and Mcfly as well as artists Lola Young and Sonny Fodera.

The campaign follows the release of Is This What We Want?, a silent album protesting at the plans to allow tech firms to train AI models on creative work – which has been supported by over 1,000 musicians.

Paloma Faith added: “It means people won’t be able to make a living from their artistry.”

We must get behind these campaigns to protect the industry we love.

Jade hits the decks at Nobu

Jade Thirlwall partied late into the night at Sony’s lavish after-party

JADE THIRLWALL celebrated her win for Best Pop by partying late into the night at Sony’s lavish after-show bash and made an impromptu trip to the DJ booth.

She sang along to her singles Angel Of My Dreams and Fantasy as the guests danced along – with her No1 fan, and boyfriend, Jordan Stephens, being front and centre where he belted out every lyric.

Jade looked like she was having the time of her life at the knees-up at Nobu Hotel Portman Square, having smashed her performance earlier in the evening, where she had risen into the sky with angel wings.

She had been in rehearsals for weeks so it’s no wonder she was keen to finally let her hair down.

And as an extra treat, she, along with the other partygoers, got a goody bag packed with premium beauty products and goodies from Ray Ban and Dr Martens. Quids in.

CHAPPELL ROAN is in the race for the No1 spot in the Official Singles Chart after winning International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for Good Luck, Babe!.

Her track Pink Pony Club is battling against Kendrick Lamar‘s Not Like Us, just 1,300 units behind. Beating acts like Beyonce and Taylor Swift is no mean feat, so she is already acing it.
