Penn Badgley's latest family update is giving fans double the excitement.
In an unexpected turn of events, the Gossip Girl alum's wife, Domino Kirke, announced that she and Badgley are not only expanding their family by one bundle of joy, but two as they are expecting twins.

Sharing an Instagram post on Friday, Feb. 28 to announce the news, Kirke wrote, "Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST! Spontaneous twins are beyond magical."
Her post included a photo booth strip featuring shots of Badgley, 38, kissing his wife's pregnant belly while also cuddling the couple's first child together, 4-year-old son, James.
Kirke and Badgley—who have been married since February 2017—welcomed James in August 2020. The You actor is also a stepdad to Kirke's 15-year-old son Cassius from a previous relationship.

While announcing their unexpected family news this week, Kirke admitted that even she and her husband were surprised to find out that they were having twins.
"We are stunned," she added in her caption on Friday. "We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley ?♥️??."
Many of the pair's fans in the comments were both shocked and delighted to hear the news, including one follower who wrote under Kirke's post, "I still can't process this."
"I LOVE IT," that same user added. "So excited for you & Penn."
"What?!!! Oh my goodness Domino!" another follower gushed, adding, "Congratulations!!! What a wild ride. So happy for you all."
