Big news for Marvel fans: Scooby-Doo star Matthew Lillard is joining the cast of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
While no details have been released yet about the character Lillard will be playing in the show, the second season goes into production next week, according to Deadline. The 55-year-old actor will be appearing alongside Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson.

Daredevil: Born Again is a continuation of the Daredevil series which aired on Netflix from 2015 to 2018 and follows blind superhero lawyer Matt Murdock (Cox) as he battles for justice against foes like former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio).
This new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is just one of many recent high-profile projects for Lillard, who's also set to appear in the next Scream installment, Scream 7, as his character Stu Macher (even though Macher died at the end of the original movie). He'll be appearing in the Five Nights at Freddy's sequel as well.
The first season of Daredevil: Born Again premieres Tuesday, March 4, on Disney+, with two episodes dropping at the same time on the streaming service. The series will have nine episodes in total.
