Last year’s offseason version of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series was a look behind the curtain of how NFL teams conduct business. But for the New York Giants, the featured team profiled in the series, it was a sneak peek at a step-by-step outline for how to fumble an offseason as an organization. Hence, it is no surprise that no NFL team was running to do it again.
But fear not, friends and football fans. Bill Belichick reportedly has us covered:

The Tar Heels football squad will be the subject of the offseason version of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series, which is a surprise to be sure — and a welcome one in my book.
Bill Belichick and Hard Knocks to team up in 2025
There was a time when it was believed that “Hard Kocks: Offseason” might get cancelled. That is how bad things were for the New York Giants after appearing on the show last offseason. And perhaps it wouldn’t have had another run had it not been for Bill Belichick swooping in to save the day. Sometimes, it is the most unlikely of heroes who save the day. This comes after Belichick was snubbed by NFL teams in this hiring cycle to the point where he took the UNC football job.
I’ll admit that I got a hoot out of the Chicago Bears being shown in a positive light during the offseason edition of Hard Knocks starring the New York Giants. Looking ahead, there is a part of me that is curious to see what it will look like with Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels football team.
