Amid rumors that the British actress could be vying for the role of Britney Spears in an upcoming biopic (hence the recent style transformation), she really found her voice.

Earlier this week, the Stranger Things star showed she had no problem correcting people in public and speaking up when a photographer incorrectly referred to her husband, Jake Bongiovi, as her "boyfriend."
Fast forward a few days, and the internet was still talking about Brown's attendance at the Los Angeles premiere of her new Netflix movie, The Electric State, with many comments critical of her appearance.
Brown isn't letting social media users' objection to her new style ruin it for her, taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, Feb. 27, with a direct response.
Sharing a screenshot of a recent British Vogue headline from that same day, which read "No One Cares How Old You Think Millie Bobby Brown Looks." Beneath the image, the Enola Holmes alum clapped back at the haters, simply writing, "thank you."

The event, which took place at the Callao Cinema on Thursday, also saw Brown joined by her husband of almost a year.

Unfortunately, it seems fans didn't get her original message, as the comments of this post were also overwhelmed with harsh opinions like "she looks so old," "that specific blonde doesn't suit her," and "her stylist should be fired."
Several others suggested they mistook her for Heidi Montag.
"In the comments, I’m shocked by how much hate this girl gets," one said defending the star. "I just hope none of it affects them, and that their marriage lasts for many, many years."
