Kathy Griffin and Jack Black aren't a celebrity couple most people would pair, but they briefly dated in the '90s. Recently, Griffin dished on the Nacho Libre star's questionable shower habit.
In late February, the stand-up comedian posted a video on TikTok to give followers a sneak peek at her new YouTube show Kathy Griffin: Talk Your Head Off.

"This is a picture of me and my then-boyfriend Jack Black, who you probably know mostly from School Of Rock," she said in the clip before holding up a throwback photo of the duo.
"So, he was the first boyfriend I ever had where other bros thought I was cool because I was dating him," she continued. "And by the way, dating is a very loose term."
Next, Griffin recalled a gross encounter at Black's apartment in Vermont during their time together.
The Suddenly Susan actress explained, "So one night I spent the night there, and the next day I’m in the shower. And I remember saying to him, I get off on the bath mat and I said: 'I need a shower towel.' And he goes, 'You’re standing on it.'"
"You guys, that’s straight guys," she teased. "He had one bath mat/towel that he used for both, and that was it. So naturally I kept sleeping with him."

In the comments, Griffin's followers were floored by her dating history and Black's unhygienic behavior.
One TikTok user speculated, "1 towel and a mattress on the floor I bet ?."
Another fan wrote, "I fear we’ve all been Jack Blacked at least once Kathy."

Meanwhile, a different follower shared, "I’m actually jealous. I love Jack Black. Did y’all laugh all the time?" to which Griffin replied, "YES."

Today, Griffin, 64, is newly divorced from her second husband, Randy Bick. Black, 55, has been married to his wife, Tanya Haden, since 2006, and they share two sons, Samuel, 18, and Thomas, 16.
