General Hospital star Steve Burton tied the knot with Michelle Lundstrom in a 'romantic' beachfront wedding.
Steve Burton and Michelle Lundstrom got married on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Laguna Beach. The couple shared their special day with People magazine. Burton, 54, told the magazine, "This day isn’t just about a ceremony, it’s the beginning of forever with the love of my life."
Burton and Lundstrom, 44, were married in a small Orthodox ceremony in front of only family, followed by an intimate reception at Montage Laguna Beach with 45 of their closest friends, including some of Burton's coworkers from General Hospital.
Lundstrom's hair and makeup were done by Anzhela and Luiza Adzhiyan, who work at GH. Her two daughters, Lilah, 14, and Hannah, 10, helped her pick out her strapless gown, which was designed by Lee Petra Grebenau. "When I tried on my dress, I knew it was the one," Lundstrom said, "I came out to show my girls, and they both said, 'That’s the one, Mom!' We all knew."
Lundstrom, a chef and content creator who appeared on season 2 of Netflix's Barbeque Showdown, had Burton's daughters, Makena, 21, and Brooklyn, 10, along with her daughters, and former GH actress Lisa Vultaggio as part of her bridal party. Her sister Janine was her maid of honor.
Burton's groomsmen were GH co-star, and Vulataggio's husband, Jonathan Jackson, and Burton's son, Jack, 19, and his best friend, Jeremy Ross, was his best man. Burton said that it "meant the world" to him to have his son stand up for him as a groomsman.
Their reception overlooked the Pacific Ocean and was filled with floral arrangements and candelight. Their shared love of '80s music and movies guided the musical selections throughout the evening. Their first dance was to I Choose You by Forest Blakk.
"Gosh, he's proven that fairy tale love truly exists," Lundstrom said about her new husband, "He's like pure sunshine."
"To have the most incredible man I've ever known by my side forever brings me so much peace and happiness. He is the love of my life, and I feel so blessed to call him mine," she added.
Burton echoed her sentiments, saying, "I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, growing together each day in faith and love," adding, "Honestly, I've never felt so loved and cared for in my entire life. I'm incredibly grateful to have her by my side."
They and their guests enjoyed beef tenderloin, and while Burton had requested that their wedding cake "taste as close to a classic grocery store sheet cake as possible," he agreed to a delicious vanilla sponge cake with vanilla cream and fresh berries.
The wedding came together only four months after Burton proposed on January 3, 2025. Lundstrom shared that they "didn't want to wait to become husband and wife."
The happy couple hosted brunch on Sunday for their guests before taking off to Maui for their honeymoon.
