American Pickers star Mike Wolfe revealed a major career update in a switch-up fans didn't see coming.
On Wednesday, Feb. 26, the History Channel personality took to Instagram with the big news.

"So excited that I got to have a part in The Day of Reckoning movie that will be released exclusively in Theaters nationwide on March 28th!" Wolfe, 60, announced, adding that the official trailer dropped that day.
Additionally, he tagged Day of Reckoning's stars, including Billy Zane, Zach Roerig, Cara Jade Myers, country singer Trace Adkins, his brother Scott Adkins, Yelawolf and Bones Owens. Shaun Silva is the director.

Wolfe concluded, "A reckoning built on bullets. A story too intense for your living room. Witness it in theaters only."
Per IMDb, Wolfe will portray a character named Mark. A quick shot of him was featured in the trailer—although it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment.

In the comments, Instagram users expressed excitement for Wolfe's career update.
One person wrote, "Can’t wait to see your part, awesome," as another echoed, "So cool! I can't wait to see it!"

It's unclear when or if Day of Reckoning will eventually be available for streaming.
