While meeting guide dogs at the Beaney House of Art & Knowledge in Canterbury on Feb. 25, Camilla shared the happy news with a group, saying, "I've just got a new puppy."

Camilla described the canine as a "bit of everything."

"She's called Moley. Looks just like a mole!" the 77-year-old royal explained.

NEW ? Following the recent death of her beloved @Battersea_ dog Beth, Queen Camilla reveals she has just taken on a new eight-week-old rescue puppy, Moley. It’s a boy, ‘a bit of everything’ and looks ‘like a mole’. That’s all we know so far. Lucky pup! pic.twitter.com/VZsDGxxmuI

In a follow-up post, English revealed that Moley was "born on Boxing Day."

"Her mother is half Jack Russell, half unknown; her father’s breed is also unknown. Welcome to the family Moley!" English wrote.

Camilla is apparently fond of Jack Russell terriers, as her beloved dog Beth—who died in November 2024—was the same breed.

On Monday, Nov. 18, the official Royal Family social media account shared a series of photos and a video of Beth from over the years.

The caption read, "A sad farewell to Beth, The Queen’s much-loved companion from @Battersea_ Dogs and Cats Home who brought such joy, whether on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire. ?.."

Camilla adopted Beth and Moley from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, in addition to yet another Jack Russell terrier from the organization named Bluebell. According to People, Camilla had likenesses of Beth and Bluebell embroidered near the trim of her coronation gown by designer Bruce Oldfield.

The Queen has been the patron of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home for years and was even featured in an episode of For the Love of Dogs, a docuseries about the animal welfare center.
