Cameron Mathison is giving fans an update over a month after he was impacted by the devastating fires in the Los Angeles area.
The All My Children alum previously lost his home in the Eaton Fire, which ravaged the Pasadena and Altadena neighborhoods back in January.

At the time, Mathison confirmed that he and his family were safe, but that their home had been completely destroyed by the blaze.
But now, over a month later, the Hallmark Channel star reached out in a follow-up Instagram post to update his fans on how he has been holding up since losing everything in the fires.
"The first three weeks were a little tricky, not gonna lie to you," he said in the clip posted this week, before revealing that he does have a new multi-level rental unit in Silver Lake, Calif.—and it even has a cold plunge on the roof.

He then explained that he has been shown "so much" generosity since the fires, as friends have helped him out with furniture, clothes, towels and more necessities.
The actor, who is a dad to son Lucas, 21, and daughter Leila, 18, spoke to Good Morning America shortly after the fires, where he became visibly emotional about the "irreplaceable" items he lost inside the home, including his kids' childhood items and even his own baby photos.

But fortunately, Mathison has had an immense amount of support to help him through the difficult time, which is something he's feeling very grateful for.
"I just wanted to say thanks to everybody," he said in the clip posted this week, while admitting the whole experience has been "a lot" on both him and his family.
But for now, he's focused on taking things "day by day" and "chipping away" at building a new life.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported me during this challenging time, I appreciate all of you deeply and will never forget how you all helped me start to piece my new life together," he added in the caption of the emotional post, before concluding, "Love you all, Cam."
