    Art After Hours Friday, February 21 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

    Come out to Hillsborough Gallery of Arts this weekend. They are having their latest exhibition. You can view works in all types of mediums, including paintings, sculptures, and more. This Friday is their After Hours reception. Click here for more information.

    Teen Science Cafe Friday, February 21 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

    This Friday, Morehead Planetarium is holding Teen Science Cafe, a free event every month of the school year. Students are invited to talk to scientists about their work and meet other students who love science. For more information, click here.

    Singles Night @ The Single – Mid 20’s-40’s Friday, February 21 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

    Come out for a singles night at The Plant. This event is for singles in their mid 20s-40s. There will be conversation cards, games, and more, but you’re also invited to just come and hang out. Click here for more information.

    Taylor Swift Eras Party with Tar Devils S.C. Friday, February 21 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

    Come out to Steel String Brewery for a Taylor Swift Eras Night raising money for Tar Devils S.C. Meet the team, come out in your best Taylor Swift outfits for a costume contest, watch the Eras Tour, and more. For more information, click here.

    Michelle Cann at Baldwin Auditorium Friday, February 21 7:30 p.m.

    Michelle Cann takes the stage at Baldwin Auditorium with “The Women of Chicago’s Black Renaissance. The program pairs Cann’s renditions by each featured artist with spoken commentary on their lives and histories. Click here for more information.

    Amythyst Kiah at Memorial Hall Friday, February 21 8:00 p.m.

    This Friday at Memorial Hall, Amythyst Kiah will be performing music from her new album Still + Bright. Her style blends rootsy alt-rock with Americana and an extraordinary storytelling ability. Click here for more information.

    Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market Saturday, February 22 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

    Financial Literacy: Calling All High Schoolers Saturday, February 22 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

    This weekend, the Hargroves Center is holding a Financial Literacy workshop for teens. The workshop aims to teach teens to better understand money and learn to make smart money choices. For more information, click here.

    School of Rock Chapel Hill’s Mid-Season Preview Show Sunday, February 23 11:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

    Enjoy some live music this Sunday with School of Rock Chapel Hill’s Mid-Season Preview Show. The show will include sets of Chuck Berry vs. Little Richard, Led Zeppellin’s In Through the Out Door, Super Bowl Halftime Heroes, and more!
