WEALTHY NBA fans can net a home deal beyond their wildest dreams.

Michael Jordan‘s abandoned former mansion was finally sold for a much-reduced sum of $10million in December.

Now the unique property – which includes a full-size basketball court the legend trained on – is available for rent, albeit at an astonishing sum.

First, you’d need to pay $230k up front – PLUS  a $50k refundable deposit.

Amongst the unique features on the seven-acre site are an outdoor swimming pool, huge sports room and luxury gym.

Jordan, 62, who won six NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls, had to take a massive hit on the property just to sell it.

His asking price of $29m, set all of 12 years ago, eventually became a sum of around $9.5m – just so the all-time great could offload it two months ago.

New owner John Cooper, a real estate partner from Nebraska, has rebranded the home ‘Champions Point’.

It can now be rented – during “March Madness”.

And there’s also an even costlier – but arguably more exciting – option for anyone interested in staying there.

You can buy a $1m time-share -package – allowing you to make it your home for one week every year.

The rental listing calls it ‘a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rent this gated, world-class estate, meticulously designed for those who live and breathe sports”.

Cooper is a big Jordan fan who moved to Chicago a decade ago.

He told the Lincoln Journal Star: “I remember seeing the home for sale and thinking how cool it would be for the person that buys the home.”

Now basketball lovers who are not quite as rich can get a slice of the icon’s previous property too.
