After the luckiest season premiere ever, The Masked Singer returns tonight for its second episode of Season 13. And we're in for some familiar (albeit masked) faces, as once again the members of Group A will face off to avoid being eliminated and unmasked, much like their fellow member Honey Pot (AKA Cedric the Entertainer).
This week, the remaining four performers will go from the stage to the swamp, entering a land of fairy tales for the FOX series' first-ever "Shrek Night." As always, the judges are dressed to impress, with the always-game Ken Jeong doing some hysterical cosplay as Lord Farquad. But, in a Parade exclusive sneak peek below, the focus is on the woman rocking a green dress straight out of Princess Fiona's tower: Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg.

In the clip, we see the judges do their usual post-performance talking through of their line of thinking as to who may be under the mask. This particular subject is Coral, who brought the whole premiere home last week with her rendition of "Mad World." Last week, she had garnered guesses of a number of pop stars, including Bebe Rexha, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Halsey. But Jenny's spinning a new web based off a couple of new clues: Hailee Steinfeld.

"I think personally, all of my clues goes exactly with this amazing artist," Jenny explains. Apparently the clue package for Coral in Episode 2 features a comic book, which she connects back to Steinfeld's role at Kate Bishop in Hawkeye. She also references a spider that appeared, which could be a connection to another iconic Steinfeld part: Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Verse films.
Getting Hailee Steinfeld to cover herself in coral for The Masked Singer would be a massive get for the show. She is among one of the youngest Oscar nominees in history, for her turn in 2010's True Grit, which put her on the map. She's also found success in singing, charting on the Billboard Hot 100 several times in her decade of releasing music. Not to mention, if Steinfeld were to make a turn on The Masked Singer, it would have been right before she got engaged to her now-fianceé, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. If she is indeed the voice behind Coral, it would certainly mark a fall to remember!
