Canada is sticking with Jordan Binnington in net for its biggest game of the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Canadian head coach Jon Cooper confirmed to reporters on Monday that the St. Louis Blues netminder will make his third straight start on Saturday in a must-win game against Finland.
Over his first two starts of the tournament, Binnington had a .896 save percentage — good for second among the six goaltenders who have played at the 4 Nations and behind only the USA’s Connor Hellebuyck (.957).
With a win in regulation over Finland, Canada secures its spot in the 4 Nations Face-Off final in a rematch with the USA.
More to come.
