Former Pakistan pacer Abdur Rauf Khan has reckoned that Rohit Sharma is way better than Virat Kohli and Babar Azam. His remarks come ahead of the high-octane IND vs PAK clash in the Champions Trophy in Dubai. All eyes are on the three stars to fire in the marquee tournament, since they have been in poor form across formats over the last couple of years.

In an exclusive interview with Times of India, Rauf rated Rohit above both Babar and Kohli. He pointed out that the ex-Pakistan skipper was in no comparison with the former Indian captain. He argued that Sharma was the best batsmen in the world currently, adding that he was way better than Babar and Virat.
“Both are great players, but in my opinion, Virat Kohli has no comparison. His class, consistency, and ability to perform under pressure set him apart. Babar Azam, when in form, is exceptional. But personally, my favourite batsman [batter] is Rohit Sharma. I believe Rohit is currently the best batsman [batter] in world cricket. He is way better than Virat and Babar,” he told TOI.
