Reese Witherspoon Fans Can't Get Over the 'Uncanny' Resemblance With Actress Playing Young Elle Woods: 'This Is Almost Scary' ...Saudi Arabia

Reese Witherspoon doesn't need backups, because she just cast the perfect actress to play young Elle Woods. 

This week, the Legally Blonde actress announced Lexi Minetree as the lead in the new prequel series Elle—and the two actresses look so similar it's almost freaky.

In a new clip posted on TikTok, Witherspoon, 48, could be seen posing for photos with Minetree after sharing the news that she got the part in the new Prime Video series. 

The two actresses were both appropriately dressed in pink for the occasion, and seeing them side-by-side together made fans have a hard time telling who was who.

"It's UNCANNY I can't get over it," one user commented under the TikTok clip, while someone else added, "This is almost scary. They are SO alike."

In another video, Witherspoon could be seen delivering the good news to Minetree in person, which made the young actress react in the most Elle Woods fashion ever. 

"Really? Can I hug you please?" Minetree asked Witherspoon while smiling through her happy tears. 

After calling her mom with Witherspoon to deliver the news, Minetree shouted out, "ME!" the same way Elle does in the movie when she learns she got a very coveted internship. 

"OMG HER REACTION IS SO ELLE WOODS," one user on TikTok commented. 

"No but she might ACTUALLY be Elle Woods," added another.
