The top question this offseason will be the plans of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The football world is patiently waiting for his decision on his future and its effect on the franchise and league.
Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu appeared as a guest on Fox Sports’ The Facility and revealed his thoughts on Kelce’s football future.
“He’s a Hall of Famer from the moment he says, ‘I’m done,’ right? But I think Trav has a lot left; I think Trav is an extreme competitor,” said Omenihu. “I think he’s somebody that loves the game; I think in the storied career that he’s had, going out like that, in my opinion, wouldn’t be something that he would do. So, I believe that he’ll be back. I believe he’ll give it on more go.”

Kelce holds numerous team and league records, with several more in sight, but he’s consistently stated that individual accolades don’t matter. Omenihu is a free agent, but his confidence in Kelce returning is a sign of the close bond the players formed during the Super Bowl journey.
