The Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, but the efforts of rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy were the least of the team’s problems in the blowout loss.
Worthy set a record in the game, tallying the most receiving yards by a rookie in the Super Bowl, which helped the Chiefs make the final score a little less lopsided in the second half.
On Wednesday, Worthy took to Twitter to let his naysayers—specifically Carolina Panthers legend Steve Smith—know that he took notice of their doubts about his ability to become an impact player in his first year in Kansas City:

Though Worthy’s pride may be bruised after the Chiefs’ defeat at the hands of the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, he clearly doesn’t feel that he left any room for doubt about his ability to dominate opposing defenses in the years to come.
