Kelly Ripa is weighing in on one relationship trend she says is not for her.
During the Tuesday, Feb. 11 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa and her co-host and husband, Mark Consuelos, discussed a newspaper article about a "new relationship deal breaker" that has to do with partners sharing their locations with each other.

Sharing locations enables the other person to see your phone's location at any given point. And although some couples think it's a non-negotiable to have a partner willing to share their whereabouts at all times, Ripa said she isn't a fan.
In fact, Ripa said she thinks it would be a deal breaker if her partner required her to share locations.
"To me, it’s a deal breaker for me if you need to know where I am," Ripa, 54, asserted. "I’m where I told you I am, and you don’t need to know anything."
Consuelos, who has been married to Ripa for almost 30 years, seemed to agree, calling it "not that interesting" to know where a spouse is at all times.
"The last thing I want to know is where you are at all times," Ripa quipped to the Riverdale actor during Tuesday's show. "I don't need to know that. I know where you are here and that's enough for me."
"I'm upstairs," Consuelos chimed in, adding with a laugh, "If you're looking for me, I'm upstairs in my den."
"I think it's a little weird if somebody asks you—if you're dating and they ask you for your location," Consuelos, 53, explained. "It's something that I think the person should offer to you. 'Hey, I'm going to share my location with you.'"
"I just want to know why you would need to know that," Ripa added.
However, the show's producer, Michael Gelman, seemed to have some logical explanations for sharing one's location, including sharing it with your family and friends for convenience and safety purposes.
Ripa then admitted that sharing her location might have helped her once when she got lost hiking by herself in Colorado.
"And Mark said, 'Share your location with me' and this is where it was a generational divide where I became my grandmother. Mark was like, 'Share your location with me and I’ll guide you home,' but I could not do that."
Fortunately, Consuelos talked her through finding her way back, but Ripa said the whole situation was "very stressful," so maybe she will rethink her location-sharing settings!
