Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil is speaking out after his private jet was involved in a deadly plane crash at an airport in Arizona.
The collision occurred on Monday, Feb. 10, shortly before 3 p.m. local time, when the aircraft was attempting to land at the Scottsdale Airport. According to a statement shared by Neil's rep, his jet veered off the runway "for reasons unknown at this time" and then collided with a parked plane.

The 64-year-old artist was not onboard at the time of the crash, but his partner Rain Andreani, 43, and her friend Ashley reportedly were. TMZ was among the first to report that two passengers had survived the crash, as well as the dogs they were said to be traveling with. The outlet, as well as local CBS affiliate AZFamily, also reported that one of the two pilots was killed, citing a now-deleted Facebook post from the band.
"More specific details regarding the collision are not available as this is a rapidly evolving situation and there is an ongoing investigation," the hard rocker's rep added. "Mr. Neil's thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today."

Bret Michaels, a close pal of Neil's and frontman of the rock band Poison, later issued a statement regarding the tragic accident, writing on social media: "My deepest sympathy and condolences to the pilot that just passed away in Scottsdale Airpark and the other pilot who was injured, as well as my thoughts and prayers to our family friend Rain, her friends and all those that were injured in the tragic landing."
"I was relieved to hear that my friend Vince Neil was not on board at the time of the incident," Michaels, 61, added. "I often fly out from this Scottsdale Airpark location and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to all involved!!"
AZ Family also obtained video of the crash, which appeared to show the plane traveling at a rather high rate of speed before it t-boned a parked aircraft. The outlet noted that the passengers and co-pilot were taken to the hospital with injuries.
