The Chicago Blackhawks have but one representative heading to the 4 Nations Face-Off this week. Teuvo Teräväinen will skate for Finland. So, with no Blackhawks anything happening for the next week or so outside of those games and with the Super Bowl overwhelming the sports world yesterday, let’s take a moment to chat about the return of Turbo this season.

— BHF (@BlackhawksFocus) February 6, 2025 His 5-on-5 Individual Point Percentage (the percent of goals scored while he’s on the ice on which he registered a point) is 73.08 right now, which is his highest since the 2018-19 season. Since Jan. 1, Teräväinen has quietly been as productive as any Blackhawks skater (despite Connor Bedard and Ryan Donato getting more headlines and attention). Teräväinen has 16 points (5 goals, 11 assists) in 17 games since the calendar rolled over to 2025. His most frequent linemates have been Jason Dickinson and Ilya Mikheyev this season. One stat that jumped off the page at me when I was looking a few things up about Teuvo for this morning at Natural Stat Trick: he has as many individual High Danger Chances as Landon Slaggert (9) at 5-on-5 this season. Teräväinen has been on the ice for for exactly 677 minutes; Slaggert for 73:01. Solid read here from Ben Pope about Finland (who are really banged up) heading into the 4 Nations Face-Off.Teuvo Teravainen is set to move from one underdog (the Blackhawks) to another: Finland's 4 Nations team."I feel like it’s easier to be the underdog."New story: t.co/fkXFaz6m4x
— Ben Pope (@BenPopeCST) February 9, 2025 The Blackhawks sent defenseman Ethan Del Mastro to Rockford on Sunday. A few people have asked me why he’s the only player to head to Rockford (thus far) since the Blackhawks’ pre-break schedule ended (I’ll include Colton Dach at this point). While I do believe there’s value in Nolan Allan skating regular minutes for a couple weeks after he’s been in the press box recently for the Hawks, let’s also keep in mind that Del Mastro is joining Kevin Korchinski, Wyatt Kaiser and Dmitry Kuzmin on the left side of the blue line (in theory) and the IceHogs already have Artyom Levshunov on the right side. So… somebody’s losing ice time with another guy going to Rockford and having five LHD likely means at least two of them are playing their off-side. With that being said, if he clears concussion protocol at some point I wouldn’t be made if Louis Crevier went to Rockford (he’s a righty, remember) to get some game reps. If you’re interested in watching any of these guys in person, the IceHogs have a lovely home schedule this week. They host three games — Tuesday, Friday, Saturday — this week. And some nice rivalries on tap, too, with Milwaukee tomorrow night, Chicago on Friday and Springfield on Saturday. Worth the drive, folks! A reminder that my new book, The Future: Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks’ New Era, hits shelves tomorrow! We’re having a big book launch party and signing at The Book Cellar tomorrow night! The best part of the end of the Super Bowl is being able to focus on hockey for a couple months until baseball. But the Cubs are already reporting to Spring Training. It’s that time, folks! The Super Bowl is over. But there were a few guys playing yesterday who make sense for the Bears in free agency. Read More Details
Finally We wish PressBee provided you with enough information of ( Teuvo Teräväinen Appreciation, Del Mastro to Rockford, and Other Blackhawks Bullets )
