ESPN has moved around its schedule to broadcast Luka Doncic’s debut for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Slovenian, 25, was acquired from the Dallas Mavericks in a league-shattering trade earlier this week.
Doncic was flabbergasted after being informed he was heading to the West Coast.
The five-time All-Star will not suit up against the Golden State Warriors tonight.
He is expected to make his debut for the Lakers against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.
ESPN have announced they will broadcast the game live on their main channel from 4pm ET.
The college basketball game between No. 6 Florida and No. 1 Auburn had been due to be shown at that timeslot.
That game has been moved to ESPN2.
The Lacers-Pacers game replaces the Phoenix Suns’ showdown with the Utah Jazz on Friday night.
That contest – with tip-off at 5pm ET – will no longer be nationally televised on ESPN.
The game was originally slated to air on ESPN’s airwaves as part of a packed evening schedule.
But it now can only be watched locally on Arizona’s Family 3TV and Arizona’s Family Sports.
“Doing all this to try and keep Auburn down is crazy work,” laughed one fan in response on X.
“Luka gonna be the face of the league now. And deservedly so,” said another.
The Lakers acquired Doncic and Maxi Kleber in a deal for 10-time All-Star power forward Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a draft pick.

“I thought I’d spent my career here and I wanted so badly to bring you a championship.
“The love and support you all have given me is more than I could have ever dreamed of.
“For a young kid from Slovenia coming to the U.S. for the first time, you made North Texas feel like home.”
The Lakers are currently 29-19 on the season
They sit 5th in the Western Conference ahead of the visit of Golden State on Thursday.
