Daiten Derrico, one of the quintuplets featured on the TLC reality show Doubling Down With the Derricos, has a heartfelt message to share in response to the Jan. 29 aviation accident in Washington, D.C.
Karen Derrico shared a video on Feb. 2 of her 11-year-old speaking frankly about the fatal accident that occurred when a military helicopter collided with an American Airlines flight landing at Reagan National Airport outside of the nation’s capital.

“My little Daiten wanted to send her condolences to all the families of the mid-air crash that took the lives of 67 people,” the mom of 14 captioned the Instagram video. She continued, writing that “Her heart is broken for everyone involved and with most of them young and a part of the @usfigureskating she wanted to let them know she praying for them all! ???.”
In the video, Daiten spoke directly to the camera as she issued a heartfelt message to “the family and friends of the victims. To my US figure skating community, my heart is broken for everybody. As an aspiring figure skater, it really breaks my heart.”
She wrapped up the message by saying that she sends “my love, hugs, and my prayers and strength.”

Fans were touched by the sweet message, jumping into the video’s comments to proclaim that it was “Such a beautiful and heartfelt message❤️ I’m so sorry for your loss sweetheart . We will continue to keep the families in our prayers??.”
