The NBA knows the WNBA has hoopers, too. So, when the 2025 All-Star Weekend kicks off on February 14 in Oakland, California, there’ll be plenty of eyes on the Celebrity Game, which includes a few of the WNBA’s finest.
Last year, it was Natasha Cloud and Jewell Loyd with A’ja Wilson as a coach. This year, it’s Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray and new Golden State Valkyries forward Kayla Thornton, who will throw down some buckets for the people.
Gray is a 3×3 gold medal Olympian and two-time WNBA All-Star. (She also won the 2024 WNBA All-Star Skills Challenge and the 3-point contest.) Thornton is a nine-year veteran who was on the New York Liberty’s championship roster before her tenure with Golden State. They’ll join Team Barry Bonds and Team Jerry Rice, respectively.
