On the surface, it's hard to imagine what a cross between Wendy's and Cheez-It might even look like. But in an exciting bit of news for fans of the global fast food chain and the premium snack food, the two companies have announced an exciting new collaboration -- set to arrive this coming summer, no less!
According to a recent post by popular food blogger Markie Devo, Cheez-It has been hard at work on a brand-new item in the form of Baconator Crackers. As the blogger said on X, "These feature Cheez-It’s 100% real cheese crackers with the essence of Wendy’s classic Baconator."
While there's no official date set for the product's launch, the blogger went on to say that the Cheez-It Baconator Crackers will likely arrive this coming August in every nationwide store that carries Cheez-Its.

Combining layers of quarter pound hamburgers, American cheese, crispy bacon, and a hearty smothering of ketchup and mayonnaise, it's a menu item as closely tied to Wendy's name as Burger King's Whopper or McDonald's Big Mac.
While fast food fans have expressed their enthusiasm for Cheez-It's latest collaboration, this is hardly the first time the cheese-flavored cracker company has released a bold new item in stores.
In 2024, for example, the company released a Cheezy Ranch flavor, based on Hidden Valley Ranch. That same year, Cheez-It partnered with Taco Bell to produce the Big Cheez-It, which saw the restaurant swap out traditional tortillas for oversized Cheez-It crackers on some of their most popular menu items.
Though some fans might be skeptic about Cheez-It's upcoming product, it's also worth pointing out that the company has produced a variety of similarly unorthodox savory flavors before, including Buffalo Wing, Sizzlin' Bacon, and Cheese Pizza, among many others.
