GROVE CITY, Ohio (WCMH) -- A Columbus police vehicle was involved in a crash Monday afternoon in Grove City after a pursuit involving a teenage carjacking suspect who officers found hiding in a dumpster.
The crash involving the police vehicle happened near the intersection of Parlin Drive and U.S. Route 62 at about 2:45 p.m.
A spokesperson for Grove City police said no one was injured in the crash.
The hybrid SUV police vehicle suffered front-end damage from the crash.
According to Columbus Police Sgt. James Fuqua, a 16-year-old was arrested after he allegedly pulled a gun on a woman and stole her car, leading to the pursuit.
The pursuit ended when the driver crashed in the middle of Broadway, about one mile from the cruiser crash.
The teen then led police on a foot chase after crashing the car. He was taken into custody after officers found him hiding in an apartment complex dumpster off of Southwest Boulevard, Fuqua said.

Fuqua expressed frustration with incidents like this one across the city.
"That could have been my mom, that could have been my sister, could have been a friend," he said. "The bottom line is we have juveniles out committing very violent crimes and it has to stop."
Fuqua said a gun was recovered near where they found the suspect and they believe he fired shots from the vehicle during the chase, but no one was hurt. Fuqua said officers did not return fire.
