NFL announces major Buffalo Bills punishment decision in final blow to Josh Allen and Co after Chiefs loss

THE NFL has revealed huge punishments to the Buffalo Bills after the team’s 31-28 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Josh Allen‘s Bills were on the wrong side of a playoff game outcome once again to the Chiefs, who will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 this Sunday.

Buffalo was hit with two penalty flags which helped Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and company during the playoff contest in Kansas City.

After Mahomes’ one-yard rushing touchdown made it a 21-10 lead with close to two minutes left in the second quarter, Kelce taunted two Bills defenders.

That didn’t sit well with defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, who went over to the 10-time Pro Bowl tight end and bumped him with his facemask.

Phillips was the only player that was penalized.

The NFL recently announced that Phillips got fined $6,722 for the unnecessary roughness play.

Kelce was also penalized for the sequence and will have to pay a $11,255 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Roger Goodell’s NFL also fined Bills star linebacker Matt Milano.

    The 30-year-old one-time first-team All-Pro received a $11,255 fine for unnecessary roughness.

During the Chiefs’ late fourth quarter which saw Harrison Butker kick a game-winning field goal with 3:33 minutes left to play, Milano tackled Kareem Hunt.

However, the linebacker grabbed Hunt’s facemask during the play.

There was plenty of backlash against the refs and criticisms of favoritism toward the Chiefs.

After the Bills’ Championship loss, head coach Sean McDermott revealed that he warned the team in the locker room about the potential officiating decisions that could go against them.

McDermott had said to Allen and the players, “We’re not going to get calls.”

His message mirrored Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans‘ remarks to the media after their Divisional Round loss to the Chiefs.

“We knew going into this game, it was us versus everybody. When I say everybody, it’s everybody,” Ryan said to reporters.

McDermott addressed the press and continued, saying, “We went into the game and one of my messages to the team, and this happens from time to time, is you’re going to have to – you’re not going to get calls.

“And I think just when you prepare a team, you prepare them ahead of time mentally, for this is the way it’s going down.

“And you live with that. That’s not the reason why we lost.”

Allen’s Buffalo squad is 0-4 against Mahomes’ Kansas City team in the postseason.

The Bills will have to watch the Chiefs in the upcoming Super Bowl.

Kansas City is eyeing the league’s first-ever three-peat in New Orleans on Sunday.
