— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) February 2, 2025Marshall will turn 14 on March 31. College football fans may remember that the recruiting hype for Texas QB Arch Manning, Marshall’s cousin, kicked off at a young age in May 2019 when the 8th-grader played in a high school spring game.
This isn’t the first time Marshall has made headlines. In November 2021, Kirby Smart revealed that Peyton asked the Georgia head coach to recruit his son.
I got a chance to talk to Peyton before the game but it was more about his son,” Smart said after the 2021 Georgia-Tennessee game. “He wants me to recruit his son. He had me worried because he said he was gonna play quarterback today. So, I was getting even more nervous.
Two years ago, at age 11, Marshall was already throwing dimes to Justin Jefferson.
Will Marshall play in the SEC? Plenty of football fans will be following closely over the next few years.
