India National Cricket Team all-rounder Hardik Pandya had a decent outing with the bat in the third T20I against the England National Cricket Team. The Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot hosted the virtual series decider between the teams.
Hardik Pandya fought hard for his team in the third T20I against England National Cricket Team. But he failed to take his team home. The all-rounder kept his team in the hunt and hit some magnificent shots during the fag end of the innings that put the opposition under massive pressure.
Hardik Pandya in the last four overs wanted most of the strike and in an attempt to do that he denied Dhruv Jurel the strike as well. It was during the last ball of the 18th over when he played the ball from Jofra Archer towards square leg. The keeper-batter ran for the single but was sent back by the all-rounder in the middle of the pitch.
However, his idea to take the strike didn't pay off as he got out on the very next ball. On the first ball of the 19th over, Jamie Overton bowled a full ball at the stumps to which Hardik Pandya looked to hit for a massive six in the long-off region.
The all-rounder lost his his shape while going for the aerial lofted shot and was caught at long-off by the England captain Jos Buttler. As he got out, he lost his cool and was seen furious with himself.
