Kim Turnbull, the ex-girlfriend of Romeo Beckham, has broken her silence about their recent split and addressed a rumor she also hooked up with Romeo’s brother Brooklyn.
“I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to avoid adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on,” Turnbull, 24, wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, June 16. “I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.”
Turnbull and Romeo, 22, split last month after seven months of dating.
Without naming him specifically, Turnbull then addressed an often-circulated rumor that she had been intimate with Brooklyn, 26.

“I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question,” she wrote. “Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.”
Brooklyn has been married to his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, since April 2022.
Tension within the Beckham family can largely be traced to Brooklyn and Nicola’s reported distaste for Turnbull’s relationship with Romeo. Brooklyn and Nicola requested a “separate meet-up” with Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria, last month to celebrate David’s 50th birthday.
Brooklyn and Nicola were attempting to avoid being in the same room as Romeo and Turnbull, who both attended the glitzy gathering. The party was also attended by David and Victoria’s two other children: son Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 13.
David, 50, and Victoria, 51, declined the offer and the family has been involved in a major rift since, with all lines of communication currently dropped.
A source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month that the Beckham family drama played a role in Romeo and Turnbull’s breakup, which came three weeks after David’s birthday party.

“Romeo and Kim did split because of the family drama,” a source close to the family explained. “It was mutual. It was just too much pressure and tension looming over them.”
The source added, “It put a lot of strain on them and there was no path forward. It was unfortunate that it got to that point, but family comes first for Romeo.”
The insider added that David and Victoria are optimistic Romeo’s breakup will lead to the brothers’ reconciliation.
“David and Victoria are hopeful the boys will mend things soon,” the source said. “They just want their family to be at peace and whole again.”
