The Fox NFL Sunday crew of Bradshaw, Johnson, Howie Long, Strahan, Rob Gronkowski, and host Curt Menefee were at the outdoor studio live at Lincoln Financial Field to preview the NFC Championship Game.

The show’s panelists analyzed the contest during a segment.

Towards the end of the sequence, Johnson sent a message to Bradshaw about his previous words regarding Commanders head coach Dan Quinn.

Bradshaw had said earlier in the segment that he “would’ve loved to play” for Quinn during his past Pittsburgh Steelers days.

“I have a little conflict with you. You said you could play for Dan Quinn,” Johnson said.

“Well, I recruited you when I was at Lousiana Tech.

    “You could’ve played for me!”

Johnson reminded Bradshaw that he helped recruit him to attend Louisiana Tech University in 1965 when he was an assistant coach but the quarterback didn’t ever suit up to play for him.

But Bradshaw threw cold water on the Dallas Cowboys legend’s remark.

“You were what, a grad assistant?” he jokingly asked Johnson.

The 81-year-old Johnson laughed at Bradshaw’s response and answered no before the discussion concerning the Commanders and Eagles continued.

It seemed that Bradshaw didn’t know Johnson’s occupation at LTU in 1965.

Johnson actually left LTU after just one season and would go on to be an assistant coach for multiple college football teams before becoming the legend he is today.

He won a college football national championship with the Miami Hurricanes and led the Cowboys to two Super Bowl titles.

As for Bradshaw, he shined as LTU’s starting quarterback in 1968 and 1969 before becoming an iconic four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback with the Steelers.

Since 1994, Bradshaw has been a fixture on Fox NFL Sunday.

Johnson joined the program in 1999 as the program has continued to be the most popular NFL pregame show on television.

Fox NFL Sunday will be on hand for the Super Bowl in New Orleans on February 9.

The Kansas City Chiefs will look to win a historic third-straight Super Bowl as they will face the Philadelphia Eagles.
