Nikola Jokic hits amazing rarely-seen play for Denver Nuggets as NBA fans claim he ‘doesn’t even look like he’s trying’

NIKOLA JOKIC enjoyed an incredible night as the Denver Nuggets enjoyed a 132-123 win over the Sacramento Kings.

The Joker was at his very best and had a monster performance in the victory – 35 points, 22 rebounds, 17 assists, one steal and two blocks.

Nikola Jokic hit an INCREDIBLE shot from deep inside his own half Jokic left fans, teammates and opponents stunned – but barely reacted himself

But one moment in particular left fans, teammates and opponents in shock.

With the clock running out in the third quarter, Jokic launched a full-court heave – that landed as the buzzer sounded.

The NBA said the shot was officially 66-feet, but Jokic appeared to be standing slightly the three throw line.

He was also off to the right wing, increasing the distance to the basket.

The Nuggets later said: “It’s not really a high-percentage shot.

“But I took it to make it.”

He then added: “It was straight to the basket

“I said, ‘This is going in probably.’ It had a really good line.”

Fans were left stunned, with one writing on X: “LOL. Every highlight I see of this man, he looks like he’s barely trying, doesn’t care, exhausted.

“And yet he is crushing it.”

Another simply added: “Better passer than [Patrick] Mahomes.”

Russell Westbrook – who continued his strong recent play with 18 points and shot 70% – said: “Jokic has come close a couple times this year, so when it left his hands, I thought, ‘That has a chance.’

“And then, boom. The best part of it was no reaction from him, which I love.”

Jokic, a three-time MVP, said: “I think this is the best basketball of my life.

“I’m feeling good out there, I’m in shape, the ball is going in, I’m feeling good.

“I think I influence the game on different levels, I think play really good right now.”

The Walt Disney Company will continue to show the league with 80 regular-season games across ESPN and ABC.
