Mark Andrews had one of the roughest Sundays of his standout NFL career. The former Oklahoma tight end had costly miscues in key moments as his Baltimore Ravens fell to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional playoffs.
The Ravens trailed 24-19 in the 4th quarter. Andrews caught a 16-yard pass from Lamar Jackson, but fumbled and Buffalo recovered, giving the Bills the ball with the lead and under 9 minutes remaining.

— NFL (@NFL) January 20, 2025The Ravens defense managed to hold Buffalo to only a field goal on the drive that followed. The Bills made it all the way down to the Baltimore 2-yard line, but decided to kick a field goal and extend their lead to 27-19.
With 3:29 to go, the Ravens went to work. Jackson engineered an 8-play, 88-yard drive, taking only 1:56 off the clock. The touchdown pass to Isaiah Likely made it a 27-25 game.
Andrews was almost the hero to send it to overtime, but could not quite hold onto the ball for the 2-point conversion. The Ravens would lose 27-25.

— NFL (@NFL) January 20, 2025Andrews should probably stay off social media for a while, as it’s a rough scene with many upset fans. There are, though, plenty of people who feel for Andrews, who is certainly heartbroken about what happened.
This is not on @Lj_era8. He did his job. Unfortunately, the great Mark Andrews — who hasn’t lost a fumble since 2019, and doesn’t drop passes — got stripped for a fumble and then dropped the 2-pt conversion that would’ve tied the game with under 2 min left. Tragic! Absolutely…
