Tracy Spiridakos is using her platform to raise awareness of critical resources in the wake of the deadly wildfires raging in parts of Los Angeles, Calif.
Earlier this week, the 36-year-old Chicago P.D. alum shared the important reminder with her over half-million Instagram followers, utilizing a slideshow of powerful photos first published by the Los Angeles Times.

, titled "Resources to help those affected by the L.A. County wildfires," began with an emotional image of two masked individuals hugging as the cinders still burned what used to be the community behind it.
In the subsequent 18 slides, Spiridakos echoed the impressive list of grassroots relief organizations and charitable foundations collecting monetary donations and everyday necessities and recruiting volunteers to help those displaced or affected by the deadly wildfires.

She didn't offer a comment in the caption and instead let the Jan. 15 upload speak for itself.
The actress joined an ever-growing list of Hollywood stars publicly supporting ongoing relief efforts in Southern California.
So far, Jamie Lee Curtis, Snoop Dogg, Paris Hilton, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry, as well as several members of the Kardashian family, have generously donated to the emergency response. Actor Steve Guttenberg was also on the scene helping firefighters move cars, and Selena Gomez and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, were seen on the ground helping first responders and victims of the fire.
As of 8:21 a.m. local time on Jan. 17, the Palisades Fire had burned more than 23,700 acres, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire). The nearby Eaton Fire reportedly burned more than 14,100 acres as of 8:34 a.m. local time on Friday. Both fires, which authorities said started on Tuesday, Jan. 7, were still working to be contained on Friday morning. At least 24 people have died due to the devastating conditions.
