Teenage arrows sensation Luke Littler is in the Middle East to defend his title as champion of the Bahrain Darts Masters.
Fresh from victory in the World Darts Championship earlier this month, the 17-year-old will now play PDC Asian Champion Lourence Ilagan in the first round of the Bahrain tournament on Thursday evening.
This is the first event in the 2025 World Series of Darts and the third time the tournament has been held in Bahrain.
World number one Luke Humphries will kick off his campaign against local qualifier Abdulla Saeed.
But due to family commitments, Michael van Gerwen will not be taking part this year.
The Bahrain Darts Masters 2025 is a two-day event on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 January.
It is held at The Dome at the Bahrain International Circuit, located in the Sakhir desert.
ITV has exclusive television rights to show the entire tournament.
Fans wanting to watch it from the UK, can catch live coverage on ITV4 on both evenings or stream it on ITVX.
Coverage will begin from 5pm (GMT) on Thursday, with Friday’s final stages getting under way from the earlier time of 4pm (GMT).
What is the format of the tournament and who’s competing?
The Bahrain Darts Masters will see 16 of the world’s best players compete in the tournament.
Eight PDC superstars, including newly-crowned World Champion Littler, will take on eight Asian representatives for a place in Friday’s Finals Day.
The format for the event will be:
First Round – Best of 11 legs Quarter-Finals – Best of 11 legs Semi-Finals – Best of 13 legs Final – Best of 15 legsThe first round will be played on Thursday, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final held on Friday.
