Add The Traitors to your watchlist

In the first episode, three people had to volunteer to leave the train carriages, reducing 25 players to 22. You wanted to ignore the command. Do you think that made people wary of you?

It could have gone in my favour, because I was trying to show I was a team player by saying to everyone, “Don’t get off the train. What’s the worst that can happen? Let’s see what the consequences are.” Jack was having none of it and, within three minutes, he was willing to get off. I wasn’t going to stop him.

Do men or women make better Traitors?

I don’t think it’s about men or women. It depends on their personality. Harry [from series two] and Minah [from this series] are both exceptional. I didn’t suspect her at all!

What do viewers at home not realise about The Traitors?

When you’re watching it on TV, you think it’s so easy, but when you’re actually playing, it’s really intense. I wanted to be a Traitor and cause chaos, but as a Faithful you can’t really play a strategy. It’s just about who you’re interacting with and their response. Don’t try to be smart or nice. Don’t say too much.

Did you ever consider lying about your job?

Not at all. As a stereotype, estate agents come across not in the greatest light, but they’re ultimately people’s people. In my job, I actually help people a lot, and my clients love me. They messaged me after I was banished, saying, “They’ve got it all wrong, they have no idea who you are. You’re so kind and generous.” I was quite chilled, which was picked up by Freddie. He said I was too calm. What was I supposed to do? I couldn’t go around panicking.
