Blackhawks vs Flames — Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

An early start on a Monday night? It’s that a lovely idea! The Blackhawks and Flames will drop the puck at 6:30 tonight. Chicago has lost their last two games since stunning the Colorado Avalanche. The Flames come in with a 6-8-4 road record and five wins in their last ten games.

We’ll see if the disappointment in their performance in Detroit that led to a good first period against Edmonton has any influence on tonight’s contest. The good news: Wyatt Kaiser is drawing in for TJ Brodie.

    What to Watch For

The Blackhawks started well against the Oilers but lost it in the second period. We’ll see if they can put together two — heck, maybe three? — full periods tonight against the Flames. Bedard’s point streak ended at nine games on Saturday night. Why not start a new one? The Hawks are gonna let the “kid” line of Dach-Nazar-Reichel run it back. Let’s see if they can get something going tonight. This will be the Blackhawks’ fourth game in six days. There have been roster tweaks and line changes in many of the games since Christmas. Can there be some consistency in play?

    Get Caught Up

Sorensen explains giving the Dach-Nazar-Reichel line another chance:"[When] you get one game, it’s tough, especially when you don’t get a lot of minutes together. If you switch it right away, it’s hard to build any type of cohesiveness or chemistry at all. So we’ll give them…
