AN American Airlines flight attendant has allegedly been stabbed to death while on a layover.
Celinda Levno, 71, was in Denver, Colorado, and was thought to be killed between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
An American Airlines spokesperson said Levno was the victim of a “senseless crime.”
“Our thoughts and support are with her family, loved ones and colleagues, and we are doing all we can to assist law enforcement in its investigation,” they said.
Levno, from Phoenix, had been a flight attendant for over three decades.
Cops have launched an investigation into her death.
Tributes have been paid to the airline worker.
“She will now be with us every stride, and her love for horses will be carried on through all of us,” devastated pal Josephine Dale told The Arizona Republic.
And, Yvonne Shields posted on Facebook: “RIP my sweet friend.”
