From there, Clemson maintained control, never allowing Florida State to seriously threaten.
The Seminoles managed to cut the lead to 11 points midway through the half, but Del Jones halted their momentum with a clutch three-pointer. That shot sparked a late push from the Tigers, with Hunter, Wiggins, and Jaeden Zackery delivering baskets to seal the victory.
Clemson’s three-point shooting was a key factor. Reserve players like Jones and Dillon Hunter joined Zackery to connect on several long-range shots during the first half, helping the Tigers take a 36-29 lead into the break. This shooting spree proved critical in setting the tone for the second half.
